By far my favourite lesson so far. Here I started to use 'guidelines' to help emphasise the position of my spheres. I wish I'd taken some photos of this at each stage because I was absolutely chuffed with the end result. The other thing I learned about here is drawing a horizon line. It's a great way to add the illusion to the naked eye that objects are either floating or grounded. I had a lot of fun with this, especially learning about how to create holes/windows inside my spheres:

  • If the window is on the right, the thickness is on the right
  • If the window is on the top, the thickness is on the top
  • If the window is on the left, the thickness is on the left
